PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inconsistency of processing and setting related to a printing medium.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a medium print information storage section storing medium print information in which image processing information is associated with print setting information; a communication control section; and a print processing section. The communication control section causes the medium print information storage section to store the medium print information transmitted from the outside, transmits the image processing information stored in the medium print information storage section to an image processing device generating print data, and receives the print data generated by using the image processing information from the image processing device.
