Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a bone part in a meat cut surface to be automatically discriminated.SOLUTION: A bone part discrimination device 10 for detecting a bone part in a meat cut surface comprises: a first imaging unit 16 for irradiating the cut surface with visible light to obtain a first image by reflection light of the visible light; a second imaging unit 22 for irradiating the cut surface with infrared light having wavelength of 1100 nm to 1700 nm to obtain a second image by reflection light of the infrared light; a first binarization processing unit for binarizing the first image on the basis of difference in luminance values of the reflection light among a dark-fleshed part, a bone part and a fat part in the cut surface and extracting an area of the fat part; a second binarization processing unit for binarizing the second image on the basis of difference in luminance values of the reflection light among the dark-fleshed part, the bone part and the fat part in the cut surface and extracting areas of the bone part and the fat part; and a bone part extraction unit for extracting the area of the bone part by subtracting the area of the fat part extracted by the first binarization processing unit from the areas of the fat part and the bone part extracted by the second binarization processing unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】食肉切断面の骨部の自動判別を可能にする。【解決手段】食肉の切断面の骨部を検出する骨部判別装置10であって、前記切断面に可視光を照射し該可視光の反射光で第1画像を得る第1撮影部16と、前記切断面に波長が1100nm乃至1700nmの赤外光を照射し、該赤外光の反射光で第2画像を得る第2撮影部22と、前記切断面の赤身部、骨部及び脂肪部における前記反射光の輝度値の差に基づいて前記第1画像を二値化処理し、前記脂肪部の領域を抽出する第1二値化処理部と、前記切断面の前記赤身部、前記骨部及び前記脂肪部における前記反射光の輝度値の差によって前記第2画像を二値化処理し、前記骨部及び前記脂肪部の領域を抽出する第2値化処理部と、前記第1二値化処理部で抽出した前記脂肪部の領域と前記第2二値化処理部で抽出した前記脂肪部及び前記骨部の領域とを差分して前記骨部の領域を抽出する骨部抽出部と、を備える。【選択図】図1
