Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte sensor in which mixing of gases in two spaces sandwiching a sensor element made of solid electrolyte ceramic is suppressed.SOLUTION: The solid electrolyte sensor 1 comprises a cylindrical holder 52, a bottomed cylindrical sensor element 51 made of solid electrolyte ceramics, and a sealing member 50 in which a cylindrical portion of the sensor element is connected to one end of the holder so that the closed internal space of the bottomed tubular is partitioned from the external space. A joint having a metallic annular member that is plastically deformed is used as a sealing member between male screw portions 11 and 12 and nut members 41 and 42 to be mated with the respective male thread portions.
