Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device capable of suppressing variations of positions where ink particles adhere to a surface to be printed due to turbulence of air flow and surely recovering ink flowing in a gutter inlet section without overflowing.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device includes: a nozzle for jetting ink particles; a charge electrode which charges the ink particles which are jetted from the nozzle and fly in a particulate state according to a pattern to be printed on an object to be printed; a deflection electrode which forms an electric field for deflecting the ink particles which are charged by the charge electrode and fly; a gutter which collects the ink particles which fly without being charged by the charge electrode; and a cover which covers the nozzle, the charge electrode, the deflection electrode, and the gutter. In the cover, a guide surface is formed to guide the object to be printed in which an opening is formed to cause the ink particles deflected in a deflection electrode to pass therethrough at a side closer to the nozzle than a surface for covering the gutter in a flying direction of the ink particles which are not charged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】インクジェット記録装置において、気流乱れによりインク粒子が被印字面に付着する位置の変動を抑えるとともに、ガター入口部に流入したインクを溢れさせることなく確実に回収することを可能にする。【解決手段】インクジェット記録装置を、インク粒子を噴出するノズルと、このノズルから噴出されて粒子状になって飛翔するインク粒子を被印字物に印字するパターンに応じて帯電させる帯電電極と、この帯電電極により帯電されて飛翔するインク粒子を偏向させるため電界を形成する偏向電極と、帯電電極で帯電されずに飛翔するインク粒子を捕集するガターと、ノズルと帯電電極と偏向電極とガターとを覆うカバーとを備えて構成し、カバーには、帯電されなかったインク粒子が飛翔する方向でガターを覆う面よりもノズルに近い側に、偏向電極で偏向させたインク粒子を通過させる開口部が形成された被印字物をガイドするためのガイド面を形成した。【選択図】 図1
