PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig head that facilitates lowering a fall speed of a simulated bait as alternatives unlike a main stream type jig head.SOLUTION: A jig head 1 includes a hook 2 and a metallic sinker 3 mounted to the hook 2. The metallic sinker 3 is covered by a covering member 4 comprising a curable plastic material. A slit 6 is formed on an upper surface of the covering member 4 comprising the curable plastic material. Then, the metallic sinker 3 mounted to the hook 2 is given to the slit 6 just to be pushed as it is, and thereby the metallic sinker 3 mounted to the hook 2 is brought into a state of being covered by the covering member 4 comprising the curable plastic material. Also, the covering member 4 is drawn to the side opposite to the slit 6 by the right hand while pinching the hook 2 by the right hand, and thereby the covering member 4 can be removed from the metallic sinker 3 mounted to the hook 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】主流型ジグヘッドとは異なる選択肢として，疑似餌のフォールスピードを，より低速にすることが容易なジグヘッドを提供する。【解決手段】ジグヘッド１は，フック２と，フック２に装着された金属製シンカー３と，を備えている。金属製シンカー３は，硬化性プラスチック素材からなる被覆部材４によって被覆されている。硬化性プラスチック素材からなる被覆部材４の上面には，スリット６が形成されている。そして，フック２に装着された金属製シンカー３を当該スリット６にあてがい，そのまま押し込むことにより，フック２に装着された金属製シンカー３が，硬化性プラスチック素材からなる被覆部材４によって被覆された状態となる。また，フック２を右手で摘まんだ状態で，被覆部材４を，右手でスリット６の反対側に引っ張ることにより，フック２に装着された金属製シンカー３から被覆部材４を外すことができる。【選択図】図２
