Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assess the existence of genetic abnormalities in a fertilized egg before implantation non-invasively.SOLUTION: The method of assessing the existence of a genetic abnormality in a fertilized egg before implantation comprising: (i) a step of preparing nucleic acid included in the supernatant of culture medium in which a mammalian fertilized egg is cultured in vitro; (ii) a step of acquiring base sequence information of the nucleic acid using a base sequence information acquisition means; (iii) a step of assessing the existence of genetic abnormalities by analyzing the acquired base sequence information. The culture supernatant is obtained from a fertilized egg cultured with no opening provided in the zona pellucida of the fertilized egg after fertilization. The present invention also provides a system for assessing the existence of genetic abnormalities in a fertilized egg before fertilization.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】受精卵を侵襲することなく、着床前の授精卵の遺伝子異常の有無を判定すること。【解決手段】本発明は、着床前の授精卵の遺伝子異常の有無を判定する方法であって、(i)インビトロで培養された哺乳動物の授精卵の培養上清に含まれる核酸を調製する工程、(ii)塩基配列情報取得手段を用いて前記核酸の塩基配列情報を取得する工程、(iii)得られた塩基配列情報の解析によって、遺伝子異常の有無を判定する工程、を含み、ここで、前記培養上清が、授精後の授精卵の透明帯に開口部を設けない授精卵の培養で得られた培養上清である、方法を提供する。さらに、本発明は、着床前の授精卵の遺伝子異常の有無を判定するシステムを提供する。【選択図】なし
