Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc discharge prevention device which can safely block a direct current without generating arc discharge and which can safely and rapidly stop discharge even when a circuit of a load side or a power supply side is disconnected due to an accident or the like and arc discharge is generated.SOLUTION: The arc discharge prevention device of the present invention has: a direct current power source provided on one side; a load to which electric power is supplied by the direct current power source; a first switch provided between the direct current power source and the load; and a direct current power transmission device provided on the other side and transmitting electric power of voltage, which is higher than voltage flowing between the direct current power source and the first switch, between the first switch and the load. When the first switch is opened, electric power is transmitted by the direct current power transmission device, and arc discharge generated on the first switch is prevented by electric power transmitted from the direct current power transmission device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明による装置を用いることで、アーク放電を発生させることなく、安全に直流を遮断することができ、また負荷あるいは電源側の回路が、事故などで断線して、アーク放電が発生した場合についても、安全にすみやかに放電を停止させることができるアーク放電防止装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本願発明は、一方側に設けられた直流電源と、該直流電源より電力が供給される負荷と、直流電源と負荷との間に設けられた第一開閉器と、他方側に設けられ、第一開閉器と負荷との間へ、直流電源と第一開閉器間に流れる電圧より高い電圧の電力を送出する直流電力送出装置とを有し、第一開閉器を開にしたとき、直流電流送出装置より電力を送出して、直流電力送出装置からの送出電流により、第一開閉器にて生ずるアーク放電を防止したことを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
