PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check whether it is a dressing board satisfying a condition of dressing.SOLUTION: A control unit has: a designating portion; an identifying portion; a determining portion; and an output portion. The designating portion has a function designating a kind of dressing board. The identifying portion has a function for identifying the kind of a first dressing board held by a chuck table for the first dressing board, from a picked-up image obtained by picking up an identification mark of the first dressing board held by the chuck table of the first dressing board with an image pick-up camera. The determining portion has a function which determines whether the kind of the first dressing board identified by the identifying portion matches the kind of the dressing board designated by the designating portion.
