Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack that, when charge and discharge are repeated at a high current value, inhibits discharge of electrolyte outside an electrode body in each of electric cells, and is able to maintain a high rate characteristic.SOLUTION: A battery pack 10 disclosed here comprises a plurality of electric cells 20 in which an electrode body and electrolyte are accommodated in a battery case 50, and respective electrode terminals 60, 62 of the electric cells 20 are connected in series. The electric cells 20 are arrayed in a predetermined direction such that the respective side walls 20a of the plurality of electric cells 20 are opposite each other, and each of the plurality of electric cells 20 is confined in the direction y of the array. When each of the electric cells 20 is arranged such that the electrode terminals 60, 62 face upward, each electric cell 20 is confined such that a face pressure on a lower-side area B of a side wall 20a of the electric cell 20 is lower than face pressure on an upper side area A of the side wall 20a of the electric cell 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
