Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new configuration for transmitting and receiving plural types of data having different characteristics via a common communication line.SOLUTION: The arithmetic unit constituting a control device includes: a communication circuit for exchanging data with one or a plurality of functional units via a communication line; a processor for executing a first process for issuing a first request for transmitting or receiving data via the communication line in every predetermined cycle and a second process for issuing a second request for transmitting data via the communication line when a predetermined condition is satisfied; and a control circuit for activating the communication circuit in response to the first request and the second request issued by the processor.
