PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide adhesive articles that can be attached to the skin and have a working surface to which other adhesive articles could be attached and removed without the other adhesive articles having to contact the skin.SOLUTION: Adhesive articles include a siloxane-based pressure sensitive adhesive layer, and a breathable conformable backing having a first surface and a second surface. The siloxane-based pressure sensitive adhesive layer is coated on the first surface of the breathable conformable backing, and the second surface of the breathable conformable backing comprises a treated surface, wherein the treated surface is not a pressure sensitive adhesive and wherein the treated surface provides increased adhesion to non-siloxane -based pressure sensitive adhesives when compared to the adhesion to the same backing without the treated surface. The treated surface of the breathable conformable backing is formed by coating, and the coating covers all of the backing.
