Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery system capable of associating a secondary battery with a battery monitoring device.SOLUTION: According to the present invention for solving the problem, a battery system comprises: a plurality of secondary batteries; a plurality of battery monitoring devices that monitors each of the plurality of secondary batteries; an AC signal apply unit; and a battery system monitoring device that monitors a whole battery system. The battery monitoring device comprises: a voltage measurement unit that measures a voltage of the secondary battery; and a communication unit that transmits a fluctuation of the measured battery to the battery system monitoring device.
