Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effect application device which apparently increases types of simultaneously applicable effects.SOLUTION: When an effect section 161 which can apply only one effect is switched to execute a flanger during a filtering process in accordance with a frequency signal (LFO signal), a CPU 13 leaves the frequency signal (LFO signal) in progress from a phase at the switching time and applies the filtering process in accordance with the frequency signal in progress after applying the flanger. Thus, an effect application device can apparently increase types of simultaneously applicable effects.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】同時に付与可能なエフェクトの種類を見掛け上増やす効果付与装置を提供する。【解決手段】１つのエフェクトしか付与することができないエフェクト部１６１において、周期性信号（ＬＦＯ信号）に応じたフィルタ処理を付与中にフランジャーに切り替えると、ＣＰＵ１３は切り替え時点の位相から周期性信号（ＬＦＯ信号）を進行させておき、フランジャーを付与し終えた時点で進行中の周期性信号に応じてフィルタ処理を付与するので、同時に付与可能なエフェクトの種類を見掛け上増やすことが出来る。【選択図】図６
