Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for gasifying and melting waste carbon fiber-reinforced plastics(CFRPs), which gasify and melt waste carbon fiber-reinforced plastics to enable effective use of the carbon fibers together with plastics and which prevent the carbon fibers from being scattered and discharged to outside of a furnace; and enable gasification and melting without finely crushing the waste CFRPs during the gasification and melting.SOLUTION: A device for gasifying and melting of waste carbon fiber-reinforced plastics includes: a gasification melting furnace 1 for thermally decomposing and gasifying waste carbon fiber-reinforced plastics and melting residues; and an impregnating apparatus 3 for impregnating carbon fibers collected from exhaust gas from the gasification melting furnace 1 with pitch to produce carbon fiber impregnated substances. The impregnating apparatus 3 is connected to the gasification melting furnace 1 so as to supply the carbon fiber impregnated substances to the gasification melting furnace 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】廃炭素繊維強化プラスチック(CFRP)を、プラスチックとともに炭素繊維をも有効利用可能にするように、ガス化溶融するとともに、炭素繊維が飛散して炉外へ排出されることのない廃炭素繊維強化プラスチックのガス化溶融装置及び方法を提供することを課題とする。さらには、ガス化溶融に際して、廃CFRPを細かく粉砕しなくともガス化溶融を可能とすることも課題とする。【解決手段】廃炭素繊維強化プラスチックをガス化溶融する装置において、廃炭素繊維強化プラスチックを熱分解、ガス化し、残渣を溶融するガス化溶融炉1と、ガス化溶融炉1からの排出ガスから捕集された炭素繊維にピッチを含浸させて炭素繊維含浸物を生成する含浸装置3とを有し、上記含浸装置3が炭素繊維含浸物をガス化溶融炉1へ供給するように該ガス化溶融炉1に接続されている。【選択図】図2
