PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head protection air-bag device which can keep moderate internal pressure of main and sub inflation parts, and which can moderately suppress an increase in the internal pressure when the head is restrained.SOLUTION: A head protection air-bag device 18 includes main inflation parts (27B and 27E) for restraining an occupant's head at an ordinary side impact, and sub inflation parts (27A, 27C and 27D) that are inflated by being subjected to inflow of gas for inflation from the main inflation parts (27B and 27E). The sub inflation part is made of a non-coat fabric that is not coated with a coating agent, and parts (including the main inflation parts) except the sub inflation parts are made of a coat fabric coated with the coating agent. Moderate internal pressure of the main and sub inflation parts is kept, and an increase in the internal pressure is moderately suppressed when the head is restrained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】主膨張部と副膨張部の適度な内圧保持と頭部を拘束した際の内圧上昇を適度に抑えられる頭部保護エアバッグを提供すること。【解決手段】頭部保護エアバッグ１８は、通常の側突時に乗員の頭部を拘束する主膨張部（２７Ｂ、２７Ｅ）と、該主膨張部（２７Ｂ、２７Ｅ）から膨張用ガスが流れることで膨らむ副膨張部（２７Ａ、２７Ｃ、２７Ｄ）とを供える。副膨張部は、コーティング剤を塗布しないノンコート布とし、副膨張部以外の部分（主膨張部を含む）は、コーティング剤を塗布するコート布としており、主膨張部と副膨張部の適度な内圧保持と頭部を拘束した際の内圧上昇を適度に抑えられる構成となっている。【選択図】図４
