Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a dimension of a remainder material while achieving improvement in a productivity of a circular saw machine 10 by shortening a cycle time and so on, thereby improving a yielding percentage of a rod stock W.SOLUTION: A split vice type body vice mechanism 52 is movable provided on a downstream side of a movement region of a transport vice mechanism 36 in a bed 12. The body vice mechanism 52 is so configured as to be switched between a usual processing mode and a short material processing mode by movement in a transport direction or an opposite direction thereof. The normal processing mode indicates a state in which a pair of upstream body vice jaws 58, 60 are positioned on a direct upstream side of a cutting position CP, and a pair of downstream body vice jaws 62, 64 are positioned on a direct downstream side of the cutting position CP. The short material processing mode indicates a state in which the pair of the upstream body vice jaws 58, 60 and the pair of downstream body vice jaws 62, 64 are positioned on a downstream side of the cutting position CP.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】サイクルタイムの短縮化等による丸鋸盤10の生産性の向上を図りつつ、残材の寸法を短くして、棒材Wの歩留まりの向上を図ること。【解決手段】ベッド12における搬送バイス機構36の移動領域の下流側には、割バイスタイプの本体バイス機構52が移動可能に設けられている。本体バイス機構52は、その搬送方向及びその反対方向の移動によって通常加工モードと短材加工モードとに切り替わるように構成されている。通常加工モードとは、一対の上流本体バイスジョー58,60が切断位置CPの直上流側に位置しかつ一対の下流本体バイスジョー62,64が切断位置CPの直下流側に位置する状態のことである。短材加工モードとは、一対の上流本体バイスジョー58,60及び一対の下流本体バイスジョー62,64が切断位置CPの下流側に位置する状態のことである。【選択図】図1
