PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily exchange a ball of a ball chuck type mandrel.SOLUTION: A jig (3) for fitting a ball (13) to a ball fitting hole (12) of a ball chuck type mandrel (1) comprises a casing (4) in which an open hole (42) is formed on a bottom of a storage part (41) which can store plural balls (13), and a lid member (53) which blocks the open hole (42).
