Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field winding-type synchronous electric machine with high reliability, which allow a magnetic field to be supplied even when an input signal is eliminated.SOLUTION: A field winding-type synchronous electric machine comprises: an exciter 4; and an activation control circuit 30 that excites the field magnet winding by the exciter after a field magnet winding 10 is short-circuited and activated, in which the exciter and the field magnet winding are connected through a first switching device 1, and outputs a control signal that controls ON/OFF of the first switching device. The activation control circuit comprises: a signal generation circuit that is detected on the basis of an induction electromotive generated in the field magnet winding, and outputs a control signal at a timing for switching to a synchronous operation; and a time setting circuit that commands an output of the control signal to the signal generation circuit after a predetermined time passage after the activation control circuit is activated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】入力信号が消失した場合でも界磁投入を可能ならしめる信頼性の高い界磁巻線型同期電動機を提供する。【解決手段】界磁巻線型同期電動機が、エキサイター4を備え、界磁巻線10を短絡して始動させた後、エキサイターによって界磁巻線を励磁し、エキサイターと界磁巻線は第1の開閉装置1を介して接続され、第1の開閉装置のオン・オフを制御する制御信号を出力する始動用制御回路30を備え、始動用制御回路は、界磁巻線に発生する誘導起電圧に基づいて検出される、同期運転に切り替えるタイミングにおいて、制御信号を出力する信号発信回路と、始動用制御回路が起動してから所定時間経過後に、信号発信回路に制御信号の出力を指令する時限設定回路と、を備える。【選択図】図3
