Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling control device of a vehicle that allows the vehicle to perform safely lane change according to a situation of a road surface of a destination lane to change and therefore prevents malfunction from occurring so as to improve prevention and safety performance.SOLUTION: The traveling control device of a vehicle, when changing a lane, detects a pattern on a road surface of a destination lane to change (S2), determines whether or not an own vehicle interferes with the pattern on the road surface of the destination lane to change when passing on a set route for lane change (S3); and when the own vehicle does not interfere with the pattern on the road surface, permits the vehicle to change the lane and outputs a route parameter of the route for lane change (S4 and S5); while when the own vehicle interferes with the pattern on the road surface, changes route parameters L and H of a route model to modify the route for lane change (S6); when modification of the route for lane change by changing the route parameters L and H is within a modifiable range and the vehicle does not interfere with the pattern, permits the vehicle to change the lane and outputs the route parameters of the route for lane change (S4 and S5); and when the modification of the route for lane change exceeds a limit, prohibits or cancels the lane change (S8).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】車線変更先の路面状況に応じて安全な車線変更の実施を可能とし、不具合発生を未然に回避して予防安全性を向上する。【解決手段】車線変更の場合、車線変更先の路面の路面模様を検出し(S2)、設定した車線変更経路を通る際に自車両が車線変更先の路面の路面模様と干渉するか否かを判断する(S3)。そして、自車両が路面模様と干渉しない場合には、車線変更を許可して車線変更経路の経路パラメータを出力する(S4、S5)。一方、自車両が路面模様に干渉する場合には、経路モデルの経路パラメータL,Hを変更して車線変更経路を修正する(S6)。経路パラメータL,Hによる車線変更経路の修正が修正可能範囲内で干渉がなくなった場合、車線変更を許可して車線変更経路の経路パラメータを出力し(S4、S5)、車線変更経路の修正が限界を超えている場合には、車線変更を禁止若しくはキャンセルする(S8)。【選択図】図8
