Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kitchen material manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a kitchen material, which kitchen material has an antifouling property further improved in a simplified manner, has the temporal deterioration of the antifouling property suppressed, and has a feature that even when a cooking appliance in a high temperature state is placed directly on the kitchen material, the heat transfer from the outer surface of the bottom of the cooking appliance hardly leaves prints on the kitchen material.SOLUTION: A molding article of a fiber-reinforced plastic which has a fibrous reinforcing material compounded in a thermosetting resin and to which at least a filler is added, is charged in a cavity 38 of a mold 19 and then press molded to make a kitchen member 1. The cross section of the molding surface 31 of the mold has ridges 31b and grooves 31a formed in a triangular wave shape, and the grooves have a contour line 32 which curves to bulge inside the molding surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】防汚性の向上がより一層簡便に実現され、また、防汚性の経時的な低下が抑制され、さらに、高温状態にある調理機器を直置きしても、調理機器の底部の裏面からの伝熱による調理機器の跡が表面に目立ちにくいキッチン部材を製造することができるキッチン部材の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】熱硬化性樹脂に繊維状の補強材が配合され、かつ少なくとも充填材が添加された繊維強化プラスチックの成形品を成形用の金型19のキャビティ38内に仕込んだ後、プレス成型してキッチン部材1を製造するに当たり、金型の成形面31の断面は、三角波状に凹凸した山部31bと谷部31aを有し、谷部は、輪郭線32が成形面の内側に膨らむ曲線状の形状を有する。【選択図】図1
