Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component in which a plurality of chip components and an external terminal are accurately joined although the plurality of chip components are mounted on the external terminal in the electronic component.SOLUTION: An electronic component comprises a substantially rectangular first chip component 20, a second chip component 80, and an external terminal 30 electrically connected to a terminal electrode 22 of the first chip component and a terminal electrode 82 of the second chip component. The external terminal comprises an electrode connection part connected to the terminal electrode 22 and the terminal electrode 82. The electrode connection part comprises a first portion 32a connected to a coupling part and facing the terminal electrode 22, and a second portion 32b extending upward from the first portion and facing the terminal electrodes 22 and 82.
