Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a toner for electrostatic charge image development capable of obtaining a toner which has a small amount of desorption of a release agent and is excellent in heat-resistant storage property.SOLUTION: A method for producing a toner for electrostatic charge image development includes: a step (1) of mixing an aqueous dispersion liquid of a release agent and resin particles (A), and emulsifying the aqueous dispersion liquid to obtain an aqueous dispersion liquid of release agent particles; a step (2) of mixing the aqueous dispersion liquid of release agent particles obtained in the step (1) with the aqueous dispersion liquid of the resin particles (B), and aggregating the mixed substance to obtain aggregated particles; and a step (3) of fusing the aggregated particles obtained in the step (2) to obtain fused particles, where the resin particles (A) contain a polyester resin (X), the polyester resin (X) is a polyester resin containing a component derived from hydrocarbon wax having a hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group, and a volume average particle diameter (D) of the resin particles (A) is 0.01 μm or more and 1.0 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
