PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an accident caused by remaining of users by detecting the remaining of the user in a car in a controlled operation at a higher degree of accuracy.SOLUTION: An elevator device 30 in this invention to achieve a purpose includes: a car 1 which travels in a hoistway 14 for transporting a user 12 to an upper floor or a lower floor; a balancing weight 6 for ensuring weight balance with the car 1; a main rope 4 for connecting the car 1 and the balancing weight; a hoisting machine 3 for moving the main rope 4; a load sensor 9 for detecting a load [K] inside the car in waiting and a load [J] inside the car in a controlled operation of the elevator device 30; and a control device 2 which determines that the user 12 does not remain in the car when [K] is equal to [J], and that the user 12 remains in the car when [K] is not equal to [J] by comparing the load [K] inside the car in waiting and the load [J] inside the car in the controlled operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】管制運転時の乗りかご内の利用者の居残りをより高精度に検出し、利用者の居残りによる事故を防止すること。【解決手段】本発明のエレベーター装置３０は、目的を達成するために、昇降路内１４を走行して利用者１２を上階または下階に搬送する乗りかご１と、乗りかご１との重量バランスを確保するつり合いおもり６と、乗りかご１とつり合いおもりを連結する主ロープ４と、主ロープ４を移動させる巻上機３と、待機中の乗りかご内荷重[Ｋ]及びエレベーター装置３０の管制運転時の乗りかご内荷重[Ｊ]を検出する荷重センサー９と、待機中の乗りかご内荷重[Ｋ]と管制運転時の乗りかご内荷重[Ｊ]を比較し、[Ｋ]＝[Ｊ]で乗りかご内に利用者１２の居残りなし、[Ｋ]≠[Ｊ]で乗りかご内に利用者１２の居残りありと判断する制御装置２とを備えていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
