Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a washing machine capable of efficiently consuming a rotation energy during deceleration by a resistance component of a motor and reducing a break time by an easy control setting in an inverter driven washing machine.SOLUTION: : a rotary drum 1 that accommodates laundry and is rotationally driven; an inverter circuit 7 that converts a direct-current power to an alternating-current power; a motor 4 that drives rotary drum 1 by the inverter circuit 7; rotation number detecting means 17 that detects a rotation number of the motor 4; current detecting means 9 that detects a motor current of the motor 4; and input voltage control means 15 that controls an applied voltage to the motor 4. The input voltage control means 15 controls a phase current of the motor 4 during a break operation of the motor 4 to be constant and thus, it is possible to efficiently consume a rotation energy during deceleration by a resistance component of the motor 4 and reduce a break time by an easy control setting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】インバータ駆動の洗濯機において、減速時の回転エネルギーをモータの抵抗成分で効率的に消費させ、容易な制御設定でブレーキ時間を短くすることができる洗濯機を実現する。【解決手段】洗濯物を収容して回転駆動される回転ドラム1と、直流電力を交流電力に変換するインバータ回路7と、インバータ回路7により回転ドラム1を駆動するモータ4と、モータ4の回転数を検知する回転数検知手段17と、モータ4のモータ電流を検出する電流検出手段9と、モータ4への印可電圧を制御する入力電圧制御手段15とを備え、入力電圧制御手段15は、モータ4のブレーキ運転時にモータ4の相電流を一定に制御することにより、減速時の回転エネルギーをモータ4の抵抗成分で効率的に消費させ、容易な制御設定でブレーキ時間を短くすることができる。【選択図】図2
