Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pressure rotating machine in which a thrust pad can easily generate dynamic pressure, and which is reduced in a possibility of seizure, and high in reliability.SOLUTION: In a fluid pressure rotating machine having a cylinder block 5 which is rotatably arranged in a casing, a valve plate 7 fixed to the casing, and a thrust pad 18 arranged at the valve plate 7, and slide-contacting with the cylinder block 5, the thrust pad 18 has a space 18c which is formed up to a middle part in a peripheral direction toward the other end part at an opposite side from one end part at a side at which a working fluid flows between opposing slide-contact faces 18A, 5A of the thrust pad 18 and the cylinder block 5 accompanied by the rotation of the cylinder block 5 in a peripheral direction of the valve plate 7 at a lower part of the slide face 18A opposing the slide face 5A of the cylinder block 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】本発明の目的は、スラストパッドが容易に動圧を発生することができ、焼付きの可能性を低減した信頼関の高い液圧回転機械を提供することにある。【解決手段】ケーシング内に回転可能に設けられたシリンダブロック5と、ケーシングに固定され弁板7と、弁板7に設けられシリンダブロック5と摺接するスラストパッド18とを有すれう液圧回転機械において、スラストパッド18は、シリンダブロック5の摺接面5Aと対向する摺接面18Aの下部に、弁板7の周方向においてシリンダブロック5の回転に伴って作動油がスラストパッド18とシリンダブロック5との相互に対向する摺接面18A,5A間に流入する側の一端部から反対側の他端部に向かって、前記周方向における途中まで形成された空間18Cを有する。【選択図】図4
