PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine such that hot air at a control valve periphery hardly flows to a battery arrangement side although an opening part serves as both a window for liquid level inspection and a battery ventilation port.SOLUTION: A work machine comprises: a hydraulic oil tank formed in an L shape in lateral view of a tank lower part which has a mounted body mounted on its upper surface and a tank upper part provided projecting upward from the tank lower part and arranged side by side with the mounted body in a horizontal direction; a control valve arranged by the hydraulic oil tank; a battery mounted on an upper surface of the tank lower part; a liquid level indicator of the tank arranged closer to the control valve than the battery on the upper surface of the tank lower part; and a cover member which covers the hydraulic oil tank, battery, and liquid level indicator. The work machine further comprises: an opening part formed from a region, opposed to the liquid level indicator, of the cover member to a region opposed to the battery; and a partition wall which partitions off a space where the battery is arranged and a space where the liquid level indicator is arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】開口部を液面点検用窓とバッテリ通気口とを兼ねた開口としつつも、コントロールバルブ周囲の熱気をバッテリ配置側へと流動させにくい作業機を提供する。【解決手段】作業機は、上面に搭載物が搭載されるタンク下部と、このタンク下部から上方突出状に設けられていて搭載物と水平方向で並ぶタンク上部とにより側方視Ｌ字形に形成された作動油タンクと、作動油タンクの側方に配置されたコントロールバルブと、タンク下部の上面に搭載されたバッテリと、タンク下部の上面におけるバッテリよりもコントロールバルブに近い側に配置されたタンクの液面計と、作動油タンク、バッテリ、および液面計を覆うカバー部材と、を備えた作業機であって、カバー部材における液面計に対向する領域からバッテリに対向する領域にわたって形成された開口部と、バッテリが配置された空間と液面計が配置される空間との間を仕切る仕切壁とを備えている。【選択図】図８
