Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device to monitor the flow of breathing gas in an apparatus which delivers therapeutic gas comprising nitric oxide to a patient.SOLUTION: Provided is an apparatus to deliver therapeutic gas to a patient, comprising: a first inlet 201; a second inlet 202; an outlet 204 for supplying breathing gas and therapeutic gas; a therapeutic gas injector module 203 placed in communication with a therapeutic gas supply to monitor and control the flow of the therapeutic gas; and a control circuit for communication with the therapeutic gas injector module 203. The control circuit includes a flow sensor 206 for monitoring the flow of the breathing gas, is configured to determine the delivery concentration of the therapeutic gas in a mixture of the breathing gas and the therapeutic gas, and displays on the display 208 a comparison between the therapeutic gas delivery concentration and a desired concentration.
