PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device which can properly correct shoe clearance irrespective of a use state of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A brake device 1 includes: a shoe clearance estimation part 20 for estimating current shoe clearance of a brake drum 30 and a brake shoe 31, based on operation information of a vehicle; and a correction determination part 21 for acquiring a deviation amount between the current shoe clearance and proper shoe clearance, and for determining whether or not correction of the current shoe clearance is necessary. In the brake device 1, when the correction determination part 21 has determined that the correction is necessary, a parking brake control part 23 adjusts a movement amount of the brake shoe 31, and corrects the current shoe clearance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】車両の使用状況によらず、シュークリアランスを適切に補正できるブレーキ装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両の動作情報に基づいて、ブレーキドラム３０とブレーキシュー３１との現在のシュークリアランスを推定するシュークリアランス推定部２０と、現在のシュークリアランスと、適正なシュークリアランスとのズレ量を求め、現在のシュークリアランスの補正の必要性を判断する補正判断部２１とを備えるブレーキ装置１。このブレーキ装置１では、補正判断部２１が前記補正を必要と判断したときに、パーキングブレーキ制御部２３は、ブレーキシュー３１の移動量を調整し、現在のシュークリアランスを補正する。【選択図】図１
