Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of effectively reducing intake noise in a simple structure.SOLUTION: The air cleaner includes a first housing 10 having an inlet 11, a second housing 20 having an outlet 21, and a filter element 30 provided between an upper opening 12 of the first housing 10 and a lower opening 22 of the second housing 20. The first housing 10 has a protruded wall part 16 protruded from the inner face, a communication hole 17 provided in the protruded wall part 16, and a sound absorbing part 40 formed of a porous material.
