Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a local cooling structure of a metal mold capable of restraining reduction in cooling performance caused by staying of steam in a cooling circuit.SOLUTION: A local cooling structure 1 of a metal mold on one form of the present invention is the local cooling structure of the metal mold formed in a projection part 3b for constituting a cavity surface 3a of the metal mold 3 and having a cooling circuit 2 for making cooling water flow for cooling the projection part 3b, and connects a water suction port and a drain port of the cooling circuit 2 in series, and supplies the cooling water to the cooling circuit 2 so that water pressure in the apex vicinity in the cooling circuit 2 in an attitude when molding a coarse material by the metal mold 3, becomes higher than steam pressure when steam stays in the apex vicinity by evaporating the cooling water in the preset cooling circuit 2, and the cross-sectional area in the apex vicinity in the cooling circuit 2 is the cross-sectional area or less of a part just before reaching the apex vicinity in the cooling circuit 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】冷却回路内での蒸気の滞留に起因する冷却性能の低下を抑制することができる金型の局所冷却構造を実現する。【解決手段】本発明の一形態に係る金型の局所冷却構造1は、金型3のキャビティ面3aを構成する突出部3bに形成されると共に、突出部3bを冷却するための冷却水が流れる冷却回路2を有する金型の局所冷却構造であって、冷却回路2の吸水口と排出口とを直列で結び、且つ金型3で粗材を成形する際の姿勢で冷却回路2内の頂部近傍の水圧が、予め設定された冷却回路2内で冷却水が蒸発して頂部近傍に蒸気が滞留したときの蒸気圧より高くなるように、冷却回路2に冷却水が供給され、冷却回路2内の頂部近傍の断面積は、冷却回路2内における頂部近傍に到達する直前の部分の断面積以下である。【選択図】図1 |
