PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker in which the turn of a lid body can be more reliably braked.SOLUTION: The rice cooker according to the present invention comprises: a nearly bottomed cylindrical rice cooker body; a pot to store materials to be cooked; a protection frame provided inside the rice cooker body and housing the pot; an upper frame provided to cover a space between the upper surface opening part of the protection frame and the upper surface opening part of the rice cooker body; a hinge shaft disposed on the rear upper part of the upper frame; a lid body which turns centered on the hinge shaft to be movable between a closing position covering the upper surface opening part of the rice cooker body and an opening position opening the upper surface opening part of the rice cooker body; an energizing member energizing the lid body so that the lid body turns to the opening position from the closing position; a moving member moving in conjunction with the operation of the lid body turning to the closing position from the closing position; and a braking member disposed in the movement passage of the moving member and braking the movement of the moving member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】蓋体の回動をより確実に制動することができる炊飯器を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る炊飯器は、略有底筒状の炊飯器本体と、調理物を収容する鍋と、炊飯器本体の内部に設けられ、鍋を収納する保護枠と、保護枠の上面開口部と炊飯器本体の上面開口部との間を覆うように設けられた上枠と、上枠の後部上方に配置されたヒンジ軸と、ヒンジ軸を中心として回動することにより、炊飯器本体の上面開口部を覆う閉位置と、炊飯器本体の上面開口部を開放する開位置との間で移動可能な蓋体と、閉位置から開位置へ蓋体が回動するように蓋体を付勢する付勢部材と、蓋体が閉位置から開位置へ回動する動作に連動して移動する移動部材と、移動部材の移動経路上に配置され、移動部材の移動を制動する制動部材とを備える。【選択図】図４
