Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable compact reciprocal flow type nucleic acid amplification device capable of high speed real-time PCR.SOLUTION: The nucleic acid amplification device is provided with: a heater capable of forming a denaturing temperature zone and an elongation/annealing temperature zone; a fluorescence detector capable of detecting the transfer of a sample solution between the two temperature zones; a pair of fluid supply mechanisms capable of transferring the sample solution between the two temperature zones and which releases same to atmospheric pressure when fluid supply is stopped; a substrate capable of mounting a chip for a specific nucleic acid amplification; and a control mechanism for controlling the drive of each mechanism for supplying fluid when an electric signal from the fluorescence detector related to the transfer of the sample solution is transmitted.
