Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element superior in durability.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element 100 comprises a photoelectric conversion cell 90 including an electrode substrate 10, a counter substrate 20, an annular sealing part 30 and an electrolyte 40. The sealing part is glued to the electrode substrate, and includes: an annular first resin sealing part 70 including a thermoplastic resin; and an annular second resin sealing part 80 including a thermoplastic resin, and provided so that the counter substrate is sandwiched by the second resin sealing part together with the first resin sealing part. The second resin sealing part has a melting point higher than that of the first resin sealing part. The first resin sealing part has: a first body portion glued to the electrode substrate; and a first convex portion provided on a side of the first body portion, opposite to the electrode substrate. The first body portion has: an insertion part inserted between the electrode substrate and the counter substrate; and a non-insertion part which is not inserted between the electrode substrate and the counter substrate. The first convex portion is provided on the non-insertion part of the first body portion. The second resin sealing part has a second body portion provided on a side of the counter substrate, opposite to the electrode substrate. The second body portion of the second resin sealing part is glued to the first convex portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
