Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal weld deposited thermo-plastic synthetic resin coupler capable of attaining a desired thermal weld deposition strength and showing no leakage from the thermal weld deposited part.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a thermoplastic synthetic resin male side fluid coupler comprising a flange formed at an end part side of a barrel part and having a larger diameter than that of the barrel part, a male side connection cylinder part formed at an end part near the flange and having a smaller diameter than that of the flange, and a root part radial direction recess part formed at a root side of the flange of the male side connection cylinder part and formed in a peripheral direction to cause its diameter to be smaller than that of the male side connection cylinder part; and a thermoplastic synthetic resin female side fluid coupler comprising a flange formed at an end part of the barrel part and having a larger diameter than that of the barrel part and a female side in-pipe connection part having an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the male side connection cylinder part, the flange of the male side fluid coupler and the flange of the female side fluid coupler are thermally deposited to each other under a state in which the male side connection cylinder part is fitted to the female side in-pipe connection part, and a part of resin of the female side fluid coupler is entered into the root part radial direction recess part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】所望の溶着強度を得ることができ溶着部からの漏れがない熱溶着された熱可塑性合成樹脂製継手を提供する。【解決手段】胴部の端部側に形成されたこの胴部よりも径が大きいフランジと、このフランジより端部に形成され、このフランジより径が小さい雄側接続筒部と、この雄側接続筒部の前記フランジの根元側に形成されこの雄側接続筒部より径が小さくなるよう周方向に形成された根元部径方向凹部とを有する熱可塑性合成樹脂製雄側流体継手と、胴部の端部に形成されこの胴部よりも径が大きいフランジと、内径が前記雄側接続筒部の外径より大きい雌側管内接続部とを有する熱可塑性合成樹脂製雌側流体継手と、前記雌側管内接続部に前記雄側接続筒部が嵌合した状態で、前記雄側流体継手のフランジと前記雌側流体継手のフランジ同士が熱溶着されており、前記根元部径方向凹部に前記雌側流体継手の樹脂の一部が入り込んだ継手。【選択図】図8
