Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preheating apparatus for a casting machine metallic mold capable of evenly and efficiently heating the metallic mold inside.SOLUTION: The preheating apparatus for a casting machine metallic mold is provided that comprises a cartridge heater 3 as electric heating type heating means arranged between an upper die 1 and a lower die 2 of a metallic mold and a hot blast introduction pipe 4 for sending in a hot blast from a hot blast generator (unillustrated) to the inside of the metallic mold, and a tip nozzle 6 of the hot blast introduction pipe 4 is inserted into a dam 5 formed under the lower die 2 of the metallic mold and becoming a molten metal supply passage for supplying molten metal to the metallic mold, and the dam 5 and a down gate liner 7 are heated by the hot blast discharged from the tip nozzle 6 of the hot blast introduction pipe 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 金型内部を万遍なく効率的に加熱することができる鋳造機金型の予熱装置を提供する。【解決手段】金型の上型1と下型2との間に配置される電熱式の加熱手段としてカートリッジヒータ3と、熱風発生器(図示せず)からの熱風を金型内部に送り込むための熱風導入パイプ4とを備えており、金型の下型2の下方に形成された、溶融金属を金型へ供給するための溶湯供給経路となる堰5に、熱風導入パイプ4の先端ノズル6が挿入されており、熱風導入パイプ4の先端ノズル6から排出される熱風で堰5および湯口入子7を加熱する。【選択図】 図1
