Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washing and drying machine that is capable of reducing the occurrence of an imbalance in the anterior of a drum, thus capable of reducing the number of correcting times of imbalances, hence the time for correcting imbalances, power consumption and water consumption, in dewatering.SOLUTION: The drum-type washing and drying machine comprises a rotatable drum 21 with a rotary shaft in an approximately horizontal direction or in a direction inclined downwardly toward a backside, an outer tub 11 that encompasses the drum 21 and stores washing water, a housing 1 that encompasses the outer tub 11, and a drying apparatus 25 for blowing hot air to the drum 21, and comprises a plurality of baffles 23 protruding on the inner peripheral surface of the drum 21, extending in the direction of the rotary shaft, and disposed at an interval in the circumferential direction. The baffles 23 have a top part 23a protruding to the center side of the drum 21. The top part 23a is provided between a front end of the baffles 23 and a back and forth center L1/2 of the drum 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
