Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and easily producing a phosphate ester monomer including a high-purity phosphate monoester at high yield.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for production of a phosphate monoester monomer represented by formula (1) (Ris H or methyl; Ris 2-4C alkylene group; and n is an integer of 1 to 30) comprising reacting hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate and/or alkylene oxide adduct thereof with polyphosphoric acid under the presence of N,N'-dimethylformamide.
