Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor cycle that has a spring provided between a side stand, which is brought a step holder that supports a step into contact with a lower outer side surface of a pivot frame and is fixed to the lower outer side and can be rotated between a use position and a storage position, and a spring locking section fixed and arranged to a vehicle body frame side, which prevents an increase in size of a space where the step, a side stand support section and the spring locking section are arranged.SOLUTION: A side stand support section 39d and a spring locking section 39a arranged above the side stand support section 39d are provided on a step holder 39 arranged on one side of right and left of a vehicle body frame FA, the spring locking section 39a is arranged at such a position that the spring locking section overlaps a pivot frame 17 when viewed from a rear part along a vehicle longitudinal direction and at least a part thereof overlaps a swing arm 24 in side view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】ピボットフレームの下部外側面に、ステップを支持するステップホルダか当接、固定され、使用位置および格納位置間での回動を可能としたサイドスタンドと、車体フレーム側に固定配置されるスプリング係止部との間にスプリングが設けられる自動二輪車において、ステップと、サイドスタンド支持部およびスプリング係止部とを配置するスペースが大型化しないようにする。【解決手段】車体フレームＦＡの左右一側に配置されるステップホルダ３９に、サイドスタンド支持部３９ｄと、サイドスタンド支持部３９ｄよりも上方に配置されるスプリング係止部３９ａとが設けられ、スプリング係止部３９ａが、車両前後方向に沿う後方から見てピボットフレーム１７に重なるとともに側面視でスイングアーム２４に少なくとも一部が重なる位置に配置される。【選択図】 図２
