Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a film from slipping due to a temperature drop.SOLUTION: Provided is a fixation device comprising: a thermal rotor for heating a recording material on which an unfixed toner image is formed; a pressure rotor for forming a nip part between the thermal rotor and itself and applying pressure so that the recording material is brought under pressure into contact with the thermal rotor in the nip part; and temperature state detection means for detecting the temperature state of the thermal rotor.
