PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection kit and a detection method using immunochromatography such that it restrains color development intensity at a detection portion from keeping rising for a long time when supplying conjugates to a test strip in a mixed state of the conjugates and liquid samples, completes capture at the detection portion of a complex at a certain time, and stops increase of the color development intensity.SOLUTION: In an immunochromatography strip, a conjugate, a free antibody for a detection object antigen different from an antibody of a detection portion, and saccharides are retained on a sample pad.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】コンジュゲートを液体サンプルと混合した状態で、テストストリップに供給する場合に、検出部位における発色強度が長時間上がり続けることを抑制し、一定時間で複合体の検出部位における捕捉を完了させ、発色強度の増強が停止するようなイムノクロマトグラフィーを利用した検出キットおよび検出方法の提供。【解決手段】イムノクロマトグラフィーテストストリップにおいて、コンジュゲートおよび検出部位における抗体とは別の、検出対象の抗原に対する遊離の抗体および糖類をサンプルパッド上に保持させることで課題を解決する。【選択図】図１
