Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that reduces pressure loss by reducing vortexes generated in a heat exchanger circumferential end part of a discharge port and straightening a flow field around a louver, and thereby reduces power consumption.SOLUTION: An indoor unit comprises: a housing; a motor that generates rotational driving force; a centrifugal fan attached to the motor to circumferentially discharge air sucked from a lower part; a heat exchanger 8 that surrounds a discharge direction of the centrifugal fan; and a discharge port 4 that discharges air passed through the heat exchanger.
