Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly determine the temporal deterioration of a current interruption mechanism even when used at a highland having low outside air pressure by determining the temporal deterioration of the current interruption taking into consideration the outside air pressure in a battery system.SOLUTION: A battery system 1 includes: a battery cell 10 having a current interruption mechanism for interrupting a current in accordance with the inner pressure in a battery case in a state where the outside air pressure is exerted; a temperature acquisition part 61 for acquiring the temperature of the battery cell 10; an SOC acquisition part 62 for acquiring the SOC showing a fully charged state of the battery cell 10; an outside air pressure acquisition part 63 for acquiring the outside air pressure around the battery cell 10; and a determination part 65 in which the accumulated amount of damage of the current interruption mechanism is calculated on the basis of the temperature, the SOC and the outside air pressure to determine the temporal deterioration of the current interruption mechanism form the accumulated amount of damage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】電池システムにおいて、外気圧を考慮して電流遮断機構の経時劣化を判断することで、外気圧の低い高地で使用された場合でも電流遮断機構の経時劣化を適切に判断する。【解決手段】電池システム1は、外気圧が作用する状態で、電池ケース内の内圧に応じて電流を遮断する電流遮断機構を有する電池セル10と、電池セル10の温度を取得する温度取得部61と、電池セル10の充電状態を示すSOCを取得するSOC取得部62と、電池セル10の周囲の外気圧を取得する外気圧取得部63と、温度、SOC及び外気圧に基づいて電流遮断機構の積算ダメージ量を算出し、積算ダメージ量から電流遮断機構の経時劣化を判断する、判断部65と、を備える。【選択図】図4
