Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional water concentration sensor having high detection accuracy over a long period without maintenance.SOLUTION: A functional water concentration sensor 1 comprises: a container 10; a light source 20 for emitting ultraviolet light 3 that includes light of a first wavelength and light of a second wavelength; a first filter 31 for transmitting the light of the first wavelength; a second filter 32 for transmitting the light of the second wavelength; a phosphor 40 excited by a first ultraviolet light 4a having passed through (i) functional water 2 and the first filter 31 or a second ultraviolet light 4b having passed through the functional water 2 and the second filter 32, for emitting first fluorescence 5a or second fluorescence 5b; a light-receiving element 50 for receiving the first fluorescence 5a or the second fluorescence 5b and thereby outputting a first light receiving signal or a second light receiving signal; and a signal processing circuit 70 for comparing the first light receiving signal with the second light receiving signal and thereby calculating the concentration of a function appearance component of the function water 2.
