PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rudder for a craft, which can increase a lateral force of the rudder, generated when a rudder angle is made by pulling the rudder, by a relatively simple configuration, and the craft.SOLUTION: A rudder for a craft is provided with plate-like auxiliary rudder force generation members 21 and 31 which are arranged on both sides with respect to a rudder center surface Cd away from the rudder center surface Cd via holding members 22 and 32 joined to a downside or upside end 13 or 14 of the rudder 10 for the craft with respect to a vertical direction of the rudder 10 for the craft, and which have a tilt angle α of 45-90 degrees with respect to a horizontal plane so as to face each other on the other side of rudder faces 10a and 10b with respect to the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】比較的簡単な構成で、舵を切って舵角を取ったときに発生する舵の横力を増大させることができる船舶用舵及び船舶を提供する。【解決手段】船舶用舵１０の上下方向に関して船舶用舵１０の下側又は上側の端部１３、１４に接合された保持部材２２、３２を介して、舵中心面Ｃｄから離間して舵中心面Ｃｄに対して両側に配置され、かつ、上下方向に関して舵面１０ａ、１０ｂとは反対側で互いに向きあうように、水平面に対して４５度以上で９０度以下の範囲の傾斜角度αを有する板状補助舵力発生部材２１、３１を設けている。【選択図】図２
