Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a surface protective film for a transparent conductive film, the surface protective film having such characteristics that an adhesive layer in the film maintains surface smoothness, the surface protective film has excellent handling property even bonded to a transparent conductive film and improves appearance defects caused by a surface protective film in the process of producing and processing a transparent conductive film, and good productivity is achieved in the process of manufacturing a transparent electrode for a touch panel.SOLUTION: A surface protective film 5 for a transparent conductive film has such characteristics that, after an adhesive layer 2 is formed by applying an adhesive composition comprising a (meth)acrylic polymer, an isocyanate-based crosslinking agent and a crosslinking catalyst on a substrate film 1 and drying the composition, the obtained adhesive layer 2 shows a storage modulus of 4.0×10Pa or more at 30°C, and a reaction rate K of 75% or more of the isocyanate-based crosslinking agent included in the adhesive layer 2 after an elapse of 15 minutes after starting to dry the adhesive layer 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】粘着剤層が表面の平滑性を維持し、透明導電性フィルムに貼り合わせても優れたハンドリング性を有し、透明導電性フィルムの製造・加工工程において、表面保護フィルムに起因する外観の欠点不良が改善され、かつ、タッチパネル用透明電極製造工程での生産性が良好な、透明導電性フィルム用表面保護フィルムの製造方法の提供。【解決手段】透明導電性フィルム用表面保護フィルム5が、基材フィルム1の片面に、(メタ)アクリル系ポリマーとイソシアネート系架橋剤および架橋触媒とを含む粘着剤組成物を塗布、乾燥させて、粘着剤層2を形成した後に、粘着剤層2の30℃での貯蔵弾性率が4.0×105Pa以上であり、かつ粘着剤層2を乾燥開始してから15分間後の粘着剤層2に含まれるイソシアネート系架橋剤の反応率Kが75%以上である。【選択図】図1
