Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily add a communication function afterwards to an existing communication device having no ground line in a cable.SOLUTION: A communication device includes: a cable 151 which includes a pair of signal transmission media 1511 a part of which is disposed in parallel; an electromagnetic converter unit 152 which is electrically insulated from the pair of signal transmission media 1511; and a communication unit 154 which generates a communication signal. The electromagnetic converter unit 152 is disposed in a manner to generate a magnetic flux, which passes through the center of the pair of the signal transmission media 1511, in a direction intersecting with an intersection plane, and is configured to generate, by the supply of a communication signal, a differential signal to the pair of signal transmission media 1511 by electromagnetic induction. This causes the electromagnetic converter unit to generate the differential signal to the pair of signal transmission medium by the electromagnetic induction. Thus, the occurrence of a common-mode noise can be suppressed even at communication through the pair of signal transmission media.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】本発明は、ケーブルにグランド線を有していないような既存の通信装置に対しても、通信機能を後から簡単に付与できることが目的である。【解決手段】本発明は、この課題を解決するために、一部が平行に配置された一対の信号伝達媒体1511を含むケーブル151と、一対の信号伝達媒体1511と電気的に絶縁された電磁変換部152と、通信信号を発生する通信部154とを備えている。電磁変換部152は、一対の信号伝達媒体1511のそれぞれの中心を通る交差平面と交差する方向の磁束を発生するように配置され、かつ通信信号が供給されて、電磁誘導によって一対の信号伝達媒体1511へ差動信号を発生させる。これにより、電磁変換部は、電磁誘導によって前記一対の信号伝達媒体へ差動信号を発生させる。したがって、一対の信号伝達媒体で通信してもコモンモードノイズの発生を抑制できる。【選択図】図1 |
