Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station, a communication system, and a synchronization signal transmission device that can protect a control channel on which a pilot signal is transmitted if plural types of TDD communication systems are used together in the same frequency band.SOLUTION: A base station capable of radio communication with a mobile station includes: radio communication means for wirelessly communicating with the mobile station by using a first TDD (Time Division Duplex) system; and control means for performing control to stop transmission to the mobile station in a downlink time slot in the first TDD system corresponding to the downlink time slot in the second TDD system when a pilot signal is transmitted in a prescribed downlink time slot from another base station that wirelessly communicates with the mobile station by the second TDD system different from the first TDD system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】複数種類のTDD方式の通信システムを同一周波数帯で共存させる場合にパイロット信号が送信される制御チャネルを保護できる基地局、通信システム及び同期信号発信装置を提供する。【解決手段】移動局と無線通信可能な基地局は、第1のTDD(時間分割復信)方式を用いて移動局と無線通信を行う無線通信手段と、第1のTDD方式とは異なる第2のTDD方式で移動局と無線通信を行う他の基地局から所定のダウンリンク用タイムスロットでパイロット信号が送信されるとき、その第2のTDD方式のダウンリンク用タイムスロットに対応する第1のTDD方式のダウンリンク用タイムスロットにおいて、移動局に対する送信を停止するように制御する制御手段と、を備える。【選択図】図6
