Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte capable of reducing gas generation, an electrolyte for a secondary battery, and a secondary battery system.SOLUTION: The electrolyte contains an element ion of group 1 to group 8 and group 13 to 16 of the fifth period of the periodic table which is an impurity element ion involved in gas generation and an element ion of group 1, 2, 4 to 8 and group 13 to group 15 of the sixth period of the periodic table.
