Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acidic water that is produced when deodorizing an odor containing a sulfur compound, with Acidithiobacillus, in a biological deodorization device using microorganisms, wherein the acidic water prevents a precipitate from occurring with time, and can be used suitably for deodorant, cleaning, rust removal and the like.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an acidic water in which: a number of moles of sulfuric acid ions is 70% or more of a total number of moles of anions contained herein; a pH is less than 3.0; and an oxidation-reduction potential is 450 mV or less. The acidic water contains a surfactant of 0.3 mass% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
