Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking control device for a vehicle that can be executed only when adjustment of a brake clearance is required and can suppress electric power consumption.SOLUTION: A braking control device includes: a simulator SSM for forming operating force of a braking operation member BP; a pressurization unit KAU for pressing a friction member MS on a rotating member KT fixed to a wheel to generate braking force in the wheel; and a controller ECU for controlling the pressurization unit KAU. The controller ECU determines whether or not a traffic state around a vehicle is congested (FLjt=1 or 0), and controls the pressurization unit KAU so as to relatively reduce a brake clearance amount Skm that is a clearance between the friction member MS and the rotating member KT when determines that the traffic state is congested (FLjt=1) and so as to relatively increase the brake clearance amount Skm when determines that the traffic state is not congested (FLjt=0).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】 車両の制動制御装置において、ブレーキ隙間の調整が必要な場合に限って実行され、電力消費が抑制され得るものを提供する。【解決手段】 制動制御装置は、制動操作部材BPの操作力を形成するシミュレータSSMと、車輪に固定された回転部材KTに摩擦部材MSを押圧して、該車輪に制動力を発生する加圧ユニットKAUと、加圧ユニットKAUを制御するコントローラECUと、を備える。コントローラECUは、車両周りの交通状態が渋滞であるか、否か(FLjt=1、又は0)を判定し、交通状態が渋滞であると判定される場合(FLjt=1)には、摩擦部材MSと回転部材KTとの隙間であるブレーキ隙間量Skmを相対的に小さくし、交通状態が渋滞ではないと判定される場合(FLjt=0)には、ブレーキ隙間量Skmを相対的に大きくするよう、加圧ユニットKAUを制御する。【選択図】 図2
